International artists group Octopus Art Projects in co-operation with the Venice Art Fund present an exhibition "Light" at the exhibition hall of the Palazzo delle Prigioni in Venice. The exhibition will be open for visitors from 1st April till 22nd April.

Curators Evelina Vanaga and artist Edmunds Lucis host the exhibition "Light" where there participate artists of various generations from Latvia, Lithuania, Germany and Italy present more than 20 artworks of painting, graphics and photography.

Exhibition Hall of the Palazzo delle Prigioni administered by the Arts Foundation of Venice, once served as a city prison. Consequently, the concept of the exhibition space influenced artists for transformating the prison space into the LIGHT.

Exhibition theme includes issues of the light, shadows and darkness. Selected works of art reflect the importance of the "light areas" in fields such as law, religion, art history and the Enlightenment, thus offering a different interpretation.
