In this painting, which was inspired by a beautiful sunset in Sicily, I've captured a moment bathed in the warm rays of evening light. The shadows of the wrought iron gate dance delicately across the terracotta coloured wall. The gentle gradient of twilight whispers of transition, a tender passage from day to night.
